I do love the combination of black and white and the abandoned, old building. The emptiness, loneliness and vulnerability of the picture. I can imagine leaving my pet there, not telling him when I'll be back. Leaving him with an instruction to think about what I'll do with him when I return. Then standing off to the side where I can watch him. He shifts from leg to leg, leaving his hands up against the wall, ears alert to any sound or movement, muscles contracting, breathing and waiting for my return. I stand motionless, taking in the lovely sight, my breath moving with his.
