Staying Healthy, Hard and Ready!
Male menopause is not something you hear a lot about, but it should be shouted from the rooftops so that men would accept this normal change in their lives and get help to start feeling alive again. Not every man has symptoms. Some men if they are extremely healthy and active can still produce testosterone at a high level. But that is the exception. Some of the medical help available in this country is wrapped around culture and social norms instead of facts. FACT: Men go through a drop in hormones just as women do, although the symptoms are not 'in your face' and 'bigger than life' than what women experience. It slowly creeps up on a man until he resigns himself that it's just part of the aging process. Well...so is disease and you would get help for that wouldn't you? I have taken bio-identical hormones for over two years and would never want to go back to the dark days of being hormone deficient! This is a subject that NB and I have discussed at great length. And it's amazing the Doctors that have discouraged him from looking into it. But we have found some clinics close to where he has moved that specialize in hormone therapy for men and I'm excited for him to check them out. I am a true believer in replacing in our bodies naturally what they have used to keep us healthy and strong. Would you stop feeding your favorite plant fertilizer because it was time for it to grow old? So you decide to deprive it of what made it healthy?
Men, look over these symptoms and honestly ask yourself if you have any of them. Chances are if you are over 50+ you'll say yes.

Testosterone levels begin to decline at 30 years of age, and the typical male's testosterone declines by approximately 10% per decade. We are living longer and need our lives to be productive and full of great sexual energy! There is no reason why men or women should give in to the mind set of what they think a certain chronological age should look and feel like. Women need testosterone also. Replacing hormones for both men and women will hopefully become a common occurrence as time passes.
I encourage all to Google (bio identical hormones ) and do your own research.
Men!!! We need you hard, focused, alert and hungry for many more years! ;)
